About the Event
Thanksgiving is a special holiday in American culture and CHAFA will be having our Thanksgiving Dinner, Thursday, November 27th at Ed Eagan's home. At the dinner we'll also learn more about the history and meaning of Thanksgiving in American culture which makes it different from a similar celebration in other cultures. Come and invite a friend!
Deadline to register is Thursday, November 20th.
We'll be eating a traditional Thanksgiving meal of roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, salad, and green beans, along with various pies for dessert. If you'd like to add a dish from your own tradition, we'd be happy to enjoy it with you.
