About the Event
Highland Forest is an Onondaga County park that offers a wide range of activities. The cost to rent the cross-country ski package or snowshoe package is $10 per person. There is an additional cost to use the trails which is $10/person. The sleigh ride is also $10 per person but doesn't require a park pass. There is no charge to use the sledding hill. I will bring the sleds. There's a big lodge where we can meet after our activities with a giant fireplace, tables, chairs and a small concession stand that offers warm drinks, soda, snacks, soups, nachos and sweets. You could also bring your own food from home. Visit the park's website for more information.
This event is weather dependent. We will NOT go if it's too cold or if it's raining. I'll plan to pick up each person at their home.
