About the Event
February is Black History Month and a local organization is sponsoring an educational event every Saturday night this month in recognition of Black history and culture. The event includes a movie about a notable Black person who faced great challenges and succeeded. We will go to watch the movie. Afterwards we'll return to Jim's apartment for a snack and discussion about what we saw and learned.
Deadline to register is Friday, 12 noon, February 17.
