About the Event
A trip to the Erie Canal Museum starts off the day. Come learn about what helped put Syracuse on the map and what ultimately led to New York City becoming the financial capital of the world. From there we’ll walk 4 minutes to the Onondaga Historical Museum where we’ll be escorted on a private tour entitled, Freedom Bound, a tour focusing on their award-winning exhibit on the history of anti-slavery and the Underground Railway in Onondaga County. This activity will be joyfully led by Ed Eagan.
The tours will be followed by lunch at Mr. Noodle and Ms. Dumpling on Erie Blvd.
Deadline to register is Thursday, November 9.
