About the Event
Join us for a full of fun as we drive two hours to Old Forge, NY the western gateway to the Adirondack Park- the largest in the continental U.S. Two easy hikes await us (we'll choose the best one depending on the crowds) each of which offers amazing views of the surrounding lakes and mountains. Pack a lunch to eat on the top of the mountain. When we return to the cars, we'll head to one of the lakes to go on a boat ride. We'll stop for dinner on the drive home. Be sure to bring a light backpack, water bottle, a hat and sunscreen along with your lunch. Year after year this activity has proven to be one of our most popular outings. NOTE: if the weather forecast for Saturday 9/26 is not good, we'll plan to go the next day.
